Hello, jazz lovers!
Last month was great! Where to start??? I traveled to NYC a few times to play with Soul Understated. Al Strong Quintet (ASQ) played the Hob Nob jazz series in Cary at Booth Amphitheater. I played with Yolanda Rabun in Raleigh at Artsplosure and at the Atlanta Jazz Festival (AJF). That experience was “So Real”. At AJF I hit a few sessions featuring some pretty bad cats: Robert Glasper, Russell Gunn, Ben Williams, and Lionel Lueke to name a few.
This month I am very excited about playing with The Beast+Big Band, Orquesta Gardel, Mint Julep Jazz Band and Primera Jazz. Of course I have my trio at C Grace this month as well which always a great hang. Whatever you get into this month, be sure to add a few of my gigs to your jazz calendar. Here are my upcoming gig dates and details. Please come out and support.
