Hello, jazz lovers!

June brought the fire and July is going to get even hotter!  Last week was amazing, I played with the phenomenal Orquesta Gardel in the Find Your Cool Summer Series. Happy New Year!

Wow! The final day of 2012 was a great example of how vibrant our jazz scene is in the Triangle. There were multiple jazz roots concerts and events on New Year’s Eve in Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill. Each one I’ve heard was packed. My quintet played New Year’s Jazzin’ Eve at The Cotton Room and then I jetted over to Casbah to play with Peter Lamb and the Wolves. A great and busy way to ring in the new year. So what’s next?

This month I’ll be almost exclusively at C Grace, the sexiest place to hear live jazz in the Triangle. Here is the full schedule for January.
